Is it safe to travel to Morocco?
Yes, of course, Morocco is safe and it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in North Africa. We will be traveling with guides and staying in well-known touristic areas, so you can feel comfortable and enjoy the trip.

Do I need a passport to travel to Morocco?

Yes. You must have a valid passport to enter Morocco. An ID card is not enough to enter Morocco.

How long does my passport need to be valid?

Your passport must be valid for the entire duration of your stay. Many travel authorities also recommend having at least 6 months of validity beyond your travel dates to avoid any issues.

Do I need a visa?

For most people a visa is not required. Citizens of many countries, including most EU countries, the UK, the USA, and Canada can enter Morocco visa-free for up to 90 days.

Travelers from some Asian, African, and American countries may need a visa in advance. Always check the Moroccan embassy or consulate for the most up-to-date information.

Do I need any vaccinations before the trip?
No. There are no mandatory vaccinations required to enter Morocco for most travelers.

Is it safe to drink tap water there?
Drinking tap water is not recommended. The water composition is different from what many visitors are used to, so we advise drinking bottled water to avoid possible stomach problems.

Will we have local guides with us all the time?
Yes. You will travel with experienced local tour guides throughout the journey.

Will there be Wi-Fi or phone service?
Wi-Fi and phone service are widely available in hotels, cafés, and tourist areas in Morocco. If needed, you can use a local SIM card or an e-SIM, and our office can help you with practical advice before the trip.

Can I use my bank card or do I need cash?
We recommend cash, since some places do not accept bank cards. We suggest to exchange money in Marrakesh.

Why are there 2 payments for the trip?
The trip includes two separate payments because part of the cost is paid in advance through the website, while the second part is paid in cash in Morocco. This is because many local services are paid directly on site, and cash is often the easiest and most common method of payment there.

What currency do they use?
Morocco’s currency is the Moroccan dirham (MAD).

Are we staying in a hotel?
Yes. We will stay in several comfortable hotels during the trip, because we will be travelling around different parts of Morocco. And spend a night in a desert camp.

Should I wear something specific?
Morocco is quite tourist-friendly, so you don’t need anything special. However, it’s respectful to wear comfortable clothes that are not too revealing, especially when visiting religious or traditional places. The night in the desert can get chilly so bring appropriate clothing.
